Manage chatlog folders
Click the Manage chatlog folders button in the main window.
A chatlog folder stores your chatlog files. You may have chatlog files stored across multiple folders, or even multiple computers (e.g. one computer at your home and another at your workplace). If it is the latter case, copy all the chatlog folders from other computers to the computer where Any Chatlog for Live Messenger is installed.
After that, follow the instructions in the next section to add them to Any Chatlog for Live Messenger.
Adding a chatlog folder
You have two methods to add chatlog folders.
Click the Add button. You will be prompted to browse for a folder that contains your chatlog files. Click the OK button to finish.
Alternatively, you may click the Auto-detect button. You will be prompted to enter your .NET Passport or Windows Live ID (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org). The program will try to detect chatlog folders associated with this passport or ID automatically.
Removing a chatlog folder
Select a chatlog folder in the list, and click the Remove button to remove it.
Note: it is only removed from Any Chatlog for Live Messenger. The folder is not physically deleted; it should remain intact on your disk.
